English Teachers - Korea for 2005
Letters from English Teachers in Korea
Hi there you two!
I have arrived and am loving everything about this experience. I have emersed myself into the Korean lifestyle and am not missing anything Kiwi yet, except my family, although phonecalls and emails do help alot. I have been teaching at an English Camp, at the Taean Boys Middle School and this week at the Office of Education. My classes this week are 2 hours long and I am having 2 per day. The students are from the various Middle Schools around Taean. The people are so friendly. I have been to Seoul twice since my arrival and am pleased my first experience of Korea is in Taean. Taean is about half the size of Christchurch. I believe you are at long experiencing a bit of Summer. It is hard to imagine. I don't mind this dry cold here in Korea. I think it is better than the bonechilling cold of Christchurch. The time has come for me to get ready for my afternoon class, so I must away. Would love to hear from you ometime.
Cheers Adrienne
HI David
It's nice to get your email.
Yes it has been snowing here. How is the weather in Christchurch?
Dangjin is great, because the people are so nice and kind. I really like everyone at Dangjin Middle School too. They are really taking care of me in many ways.
I have really enjoyed teaching the students here, they are very motivated and are no trouble to teach.
So everything is going well.
Yes, Adrian and I have travelled to Seoul a few times, and are thinking of touring together in the holidays.
Will we stay in Boryung a few days or commute there each day?(should I start packing a bag?).
Thanks for your encouragment-that I have the support of the Education Govenor-Nam Kang Cho-it's very nice to know!
Look forward to seeing you soon.
Anne
